AI & Automotive Safety

Carlore can make mistakes. Verify important information before acting, especially when a vehicle may be unsafe or a repair could cause harm.

1. What Carlore can and cannot do

Carlore is AI-assisted automotive decision support. It can organise symptoms, explain likely causes, interpret supported MOT information, help plan repairs and costs, and suggest sensible next steps.

It cannot physically inspect, hear, test or drive the vehicle. It cannot confirm that a diagnosis, repair, part, procedure or vehicle is safe merely from a chat, photo or database record.

2. AI output can be wrong

Carlore responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated or unsuitable for your exact make, model, engine, specification, modification or current condition. A confident-sounding answer is not proof that the cause has been confirmed.

Use the service to understand the problem and ask better questions. Verify important details against physical testing, current manufacturer information and qualified professional advice where appropriate.

3. Stop driving when the situation may be dangerous

If the vehicle may be unsafe, do not rely on Carlore alone. Stop in a safe place and seek qualified or emergency help where appropriate for:

  • Loss or serious reduction of braking or steering.
  • Smoke, fire, a strong fuel smell or signs of fuel leakage.
  • Severe overheating, oil-pressure warnings, rapidly rising temperature or major fluid loss.
  • Tyre failure, wheel instability, severe vibration or structural damage.
  • Airbag faults or damaged EV/hybrid high-voltage systems, particularly after a collision.
  • Any warning, noise, smell or behaviour that makes continued driving feel unsafe.

4. Repair guidance has safety boundaries

  • Simple maintenance and observations may receive fuller step-by-step guidance when the job can reasonably be described remotely.
  • Work requiring specialist testing, lifting, coding, calibration, refrigerant handling or model-specific procedures may need professional confirmation.
  • Brakes, steering, fuel systems, airbags, structural repairs, high-voltage systems and other safety-critical work should be handed to a suitably qualified professional when the risk, procedure or your experience requires it.
  • Never work under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Use appropriate stands, lifting points, tools and protective equipment.

5. Photo Diagnosis limits

A photo can show only visible information. It cannot reveal every hidden, internal, intermittent or electrical fault, confirm measurements or prove that a repair has been completed correctly. Lighting, focus, angle and missing context can affect the result.

6. MOT and Buyer Check limits

MOT Intelligence can use official test records, but an MOT history is not a live inspection of the car today. Carlore's explanation of that history is independent AI-assisted interpretation.

Buyer Check is not a substitute for a physical pre-purchase inspection or separate checks for matters such as finance, theft, insurance write-off, accident history, service history and hidden faults.

7. Cost Estimate limits

Repair-cost figures are planning ranges, not quotes. Actual cost can change with location, labour rate, diagnosis, vehicle specification, parts choice, VAT, seized or damaged components and additional work discovered during repair.

8. External videos, garages and links

Carlore may open a YouTube search, maps result, garage website or other third-party service. Carlore does not automatically certify or endorse the accuracy, quality, price or safety of third-party content or services. Check suitability before relying on them.

9. Legal responsibility

Nothing on this page excludes or restricts responsibility that the law does not allow Carlore to exclude, and nothing removes your statutory consumer rights. The purpose of these warnings is to explain the genuine limits of remote AI automotive guidance so you can make safer decisions.

10. Questions

Contact support@gearmind.live with questions about Carlore safety information. For an urgent vehicle hazard, use an appropriate recovery service, qualified mechanic or emergency service instead of waiting for an app response.
